- Who inspires you?
- My parents are my inspiration! My mom owns her own business, is always adventuring in the great outdoors and still goes above and beyond for me and my brother—a true super mom. My dad has made a successful career in doing what he loves, racing! He started Eddie Knox Racing at a young age and has a natural talent for making things go fast. He had the fastest boat on the planet at one point and has now transitioned into automobile racing with his nitro funny car. My parents continue to push me to be the best that I can be and to never settle for less.
- What was your first job?
- I loved my first job as a lifeguard. Not only did I get to catch a tan all summer, I also had a serious responsibility of ensuring everyone’s safety.
- Name two things you consider yourself to be really good at.
- Being creative. I love coming up with new, out-of-the-box ideas. Our team has great brainstorm sessions that I really enjoy, and it’s cool to see how many ideas we can come up with when we bounce them off of each other.
- Working with a team. I’ve played sports my whole life so working with a team comes naturally to me. I love the supportive environment that it creates and the opportunities that are given to help build one another up!
- What show are you watching on Netflix right now?
- Right now I’m jumping between two shows: The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, because I love to read/watch everything revolving around crime/mystery; and Queer Eye, which has a much happier tone. I enjoy watching them transform someone who is lacking confidence or in a bad spot in their lives into this new, happy person!
- Where is your favorite place to travel?
- I currently live in Newport Beach, which feels like a vacation 99 percent of the time, but my friends and I frequently take trips to Parker, AZ to enjoy the beautiful river! In April, I will be vacationing in Hawaii and I predict that it will be my new favorite place to travel!
- What are three things on your bucket list?
- Swim with sharks. *Even though I am terrified of them.*
- Visit the Maldives.
- Volunteer with The Sato Project to help rescue abused and abandoned dogs from Puerto Rico.
- What recent media success are you most proud of and why?
- A recent media success that I am proud of is CS Hudson’s placement in Fast Company featuring their charity pop-up toy store. It took a bit of research and tenacity so it was even more rewarding when it was published. Some past placements that I am still really proud of have been in Associated Press (which went viral), Life & Style Magazine, Yoga Life Magazine and BuzzFeed.
- What do you love most about Beyond Fifteen?
- I love the opportunities that I have had to grow with Beyond Fifteen. We are always presented with new challenges that help expand our skills.
