Q&A with beyond fifteen’s Brie Beaudin

Who inspires you?
My grandmother has always inspired me with her never-ending patience and determination. She is influential both in our family as well as in the community and strives to make things better for all. She has made massive strides for the mentally disabled, is constantly breaking through gender roles and works towards equality and empowerment for everyone. She is the backbone of our family and someone I greatly admire.

What was your first job?
My first job was as a courtesy clerk at an Albertsons in Rancho Mirage. Working as a glorified cart pusher in 120-degree weather definitely built up a good amount of work ethic for my future career moves and placed importance on advancing my education.

Name two things you consider yourself to be really good at.

  • I have found that my favorite aspect of digital marketing is developing solution-driven strategies through an effective mix of analysis plus the right tools and channels—all to deliver effective messages to the right people, at the right time, in the right place.
  • I’m good at creative design as well. I enjoy being artistic and communicating visually through images and video. As a novice artist, I have learned to utilize design programs that move pencil and paper to digital creation for web and print.

What show are you watching on Netflix right now?
This really depends on the moment. I am an avid re-watcher and perpetually turn to comfort shows like New Girl, Gilmore Girls and Parks and Rec for comedy and am hoping to soon pass through “droughtlander” for season 6 of Outlander!

Where is your favorite place to travel?
I love traveling and have been to quite a few places over the years. I especially enjoy traveling to visit my family! Some top places I have loved so far include: Japan, Australia, Argentina and Greece among others! I also always enjoy returning to Indian Wells to see family and visiting my siblings in northern California and New York.

What are three things on your bucket list?

  1. Cage-diving with great whites.
  2. European backpacking.
  3. Getting some pet goats.

What recent successes are you most proud of and why?
I went back to school for an additional semester to advance my marketing education. For me, the biggest accomplishment was finding a balance between working and school to gain great marks in both.

What do you love most about Beyond Fifteen?
I will never be able to express how much the company culture at Beyond Fifteen wildly exceeds any expectation I had for the workforce. Working in marketing and PR can be extremely competitive and that can provide an opening for negativity. Beyond Fifteen is an extraordinary company that has been nothing less than supportive and positive while providing ample opportunities for learning and growth. When one wins at Beyond Fifteen – everyone wins. I could not ask for a better team.
